Sweet Raisin and Fig Breakfast Crumble


Ingredients:

Oats:
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1-2 TBSP Maple Syrup or any liquid sweetener of choice
2-3 TBSP Milk of Choice
Big Handful of Hazelnuts, roughly chopped

Filling:
5-6 Dried Figs
Big handful of Raisins
Juice and Zest of 1 Orange
Pinch of Cloves
1-2 TSP Maple syrup or any liquid sweetener of choice

Method:

Soak the Figs and Raisins overnight, pour over hot water, let it cool and refrigerate.
1. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C/Gas Mark 4. Grease a ramekin or dish.
2. Drain the fruit, put in a saucepan with the juice, 1/2 TSP Zest, Cloves, and sweetener. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes or till soft.
3. Mix the oat ingredients together till it clumps.
4 Pour fruit into your dish, top with the crumble mix and loosely pack it down. Add some extra hazelnuts to the top. Bake for 17-20 minutes or till the fruit bubbles and the top is golden. Enjoy!

To serve:
Add some zest to some plain/vanilla yogurt with a little sweetener if wanted.
